Simulation and EGSE for Space Programmes – SESP2019
Date / Hour
Date(s) - 26/03/2019 - 28/03/2019
Since 1990, ESA has organized a Workshop on Simulation for European Space Programmes (SESP) on a bi-annual basis.
The overall context of the Workshop is Space Systems Design and Verification, with a focus on functional aspects. The systems supporting this process include System Concept Simulators, Mission Performance Simulators, Functional Engineering Simulators, Software Verification Facilities, Integration and Test benches and associated EGSE. The technical domains of the SESP workshop cover four main themes:
- Modelling and Simulation
- Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE)
- System Information Management
The SESP workshop is a uniquely focused forum where representatives of Space Agencies and Industry can present and discuss the current state-of-the-art as well as future trends and needs.
Several SPACEBEL delegates specializing in simulation and modelling will take part in the event. Moreover, the SESP 2019 programme contains two SPACEBEL presentations scheduled on March 27th:
- 4:30 PM – Multi-Domain Model to Model Transformations
- 5:30 PM – ARM Processors, Challenges for Next Generation Spacecraft Simulators
